KRISTA received her law degree from the University of Windsor in 2008. In 2005, she obtained her Bachelor of Arts Honours degree from Carleton University in Ottawa, graduating with Highest Honours. After completing her articling term with Samis & Company, Krista was called to the Ontario Bar in June 2009.
During her time with Legal Assistance of Windsor, Krista developed a strong interest in litigation, and frequently represented clients at a number of administrative tribunal hearings, including the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board, the Landlord and Tenant Board, and the Social Benefits Tribunal.
Krista’s practice areas of interest include accident benefit litigation and arbitrations, tort litigation, priority and loss transfer disputes, and subrogation matters. She is a member, in good standing, of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Ontario Bar Association, and Canadian Defence Lawyers.
Originally from the rural village of Tottenham, Ontario, Krista now makes her home in Toronto with her husband, Michael. She enjoys reading, traveling, skiing and swimming, and has a passion for classic cars and movie trivia. |
