TAMARA was called to the Ontario Bar in June 2008 after completing her articling year with Samis & Company.

Tamara received her law degree from Dalhousie University in 2007. While in law school, Tamara worked as a faculty Teaching Assistant as well as a researcher for the Neuroethics New Emerging Team, examing the legal and ethical issues regarding paediatric MRI research.  She was the recepient of awards in Insurance Law and Judicial Remedies.

Prior to entering the world of law, Tamara completed Honours Bachelor of Arts Degrees in History and Theatre at McGill University. Throughout this time, she was an active member of the theatre community in both Toronto and Montreal working as a publicist, director and costume designer, as well as participating in the Toronto Fringe Festival as both an actor and playwright.

Tamara’s practice areas of interest include accident benefit litigation and arbitrations, tort litigation, loss transfer, as well as subrogation matters. She is a member, in good standing, of the Law Society of Upper Canada, Ontario Bar Association and Canadian Defence Lawyers.

In her spare time, Tamara enjoys playing a variety of instruments (most recently rocking out on the drums), drawing, history books and playing with her rambunctious puppy Cannelle.
