CHRISTINE was called to the Ontario Bar in July 2005 after completing her articling year with Samis & Company.
Christine received her law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2004. While in law school, she wrote and co-authored several articles on class actions litigation, which were subsequently published in law journals and legal texts.
Prior to obtaining her law degree, Christine graduated with High Distinction from the University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree as well as a Master of Arts Degree in Political Science and International Relations, in 2000 and 2001. While at university, Christine was the recipient of numerous scholarships and awards, and was recognized by the Golden Key National Honour Society as among the top graduates at the University of Toronto.
Christine's practice areas of interest include accident benefit litigation and arbitrations, tort litigation, priority and loss transfer disputes, as well as subrogation matters. She has prior experience dealing with workplace safety and insurance law issues at the Worker's Compensation Appeals Tribunal.
Christine is a member, in good standing, of the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Ontario Bar Association.
Currently, Christine and her husband Michael live in Toronto. She has been actively engaged in various political activities in the community, and enjoys traveling, snorkeling, cooking and reading. |
