LOUISE received her Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Wilfrid Laurier University (1994), her law degree from Queen`s University (2001) and was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2002. Prior to attending law school, Louise had a career in the financial services industry.

Louise’s practice focuses primarily on the defence of accident benefits and personal injury claims. She is the author of the leading analysis of tort Threshold decisions under Bill 59 and Bill 198. Louise’s groundbreaking work in this area has informed government and industry at a policy level, and is the hands on reference tool of claims handlers across the Province.

Louise is a member, in good standing, of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Ontario Bar Association and the Canadian Defence Lawyers.  Louise is an avid traveler and has been to over 25 countries to date. She enjoys skiing and is an enthusiastic follower of the Olympics, tennis and HBO programming.
