GREG is a graduate of the University of Toronto (1980). He went on to complete his law degree at the University of Ottawa Law School in 1984 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1986.
Greg`s practice focuses on insurance coverage and defence in the personal injury area. Since 1986, Greg has been in front of all levels of court and tribunals, litigating and arbitrating a wide variety of tort and accident benefit claims. In addition, he provides coverage opinions to his insurers on a regular basis.
He is also active in facilitating on behalf of his clients, where appropriate, the resolution of claims through mediation and other forms of alternate dispute resolution.
Greg writes and speaks about privacy issues that effect insurers, and represents their interests on privacy issues involving the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act, (PIPEDA) and the Personal Health information Protection Act, (PHIPA).
Greg is a member of the Advocates Society, the Defence Research Institute and Canadian Defence Lawyers. He is also a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Ontario Bar Association.
Greg is married and is the father of four girls. He makes his home in the Niagara Peninsula, where he contributes his time to the Niagara Youth Orchestra. When not serving the insurance industry, he spends his time with his family, playing hockey, snowboarding, cycling and windsurfing.
