VICTORIA received a B.A., in Psychology, from Queens University in 1989. She went on to obtain her law degree from the University of Toronto in 1992 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1994.

Victoria also has a Certificate in Alternate Dispute Resolution (Mediation and Negotiation Skills) from the Institute of Peace and Conflict Studies at the University of Waterloo, which she received in 1999.

Victoria started her legal career as duty counsel in the criminal court system. She then moved to the Special Investigations Unit of a major property and casualty insurer, where she was active in the defence of numerous questionable and fraudulent insurance claims. She was also involved in formulating company policies to deal with such claims.

Victoria's practice currently involves the management and defence of accident benefits claims and extra-contractual damage litigation in the Courts and through the Financial Services Commission of Ontario.

Victoria's personal interests include sports and music. She is an avid football fan and enjoys many outdoor activities. Victoria also has her Grade 10 Piano Certificate from the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto.  Victoria lives north of Toronto with her husband, Peter.
